The Lynx faced arch-rival Sewanee this past weekend in the Tiger's home pool. While beating Sewanee at home last year, last weekend was the first time the women won a meet on Tiger ground. "The girls crushed them," junior Kelly Halvenston said. "Overall, we edged them." The women won 13 out of 16 events, beating the Tigers 136-90.
The men's team posted some good times but were unfortunately beat out by the Sewanee men, 169-99.
"The season is going really well," said Halvenston. "People are getting good times and training well. We are looking forward to improving our times, helping the team, and swimming for fun."
The team will be traveling to Coach Jon Duncan's former coaching home, DePauw University, on December 5th and 6th for the DePauw University Invitational.
